Senior Pastor Robert Emmitt founded Community Bible Church on May 26, 1990. Since that time, the church has drawn people from all walks of life. They come from many denominational and non-denominational backgrounds. The church has grown to 4,200 in attendance and offers ministries specifically geared to adults, single-adults, college students, children, teens and families. The church is characterized by an energized approach to worship and practical down to earth Bible based teaching.

Dr. Cristina Bettencourt graduated from the
University of
Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine with honors in 2000.  She spent her first five years of practice on the east coast of
Florida. She enjoys soft tissue and minor orthopedic surgery and internal medicine. Her special interests include dentistry, reproductive medicine, and ophthalmology.

Pam Lutrell has taught an award winning journalism program at San Antonio Christian High School for eleven years. She is a wife, mother, freelance writer, public speaker, and professional blogger for women over 50! In her life before children, Pam was a public relations executive and media spokesperson for Concerned Women for America of South Texas.
