Rise Recovery’s 18th Annual Campaign Breakfast with Recovery Champions
Join Us for the 18th Annual Campaign Breakfast with Recovery Champions, featuring an exclusive conversation with Mayor Ron Nirenberg; Hosted by CEO of Global Investors and Rise Recovery Board Member, Frank E. Holmes
Friday, May 11, 2018 from 8:00 a.m. – 9:30 am at The Omni Hotel at the Colonnade - 9821 Colonnade Boulevard
Speaker: Join us for an exclusive conversation with Mayor Ron Nirenberg on tackling the biggest issue facing our city’s public health and safety: the devastating erosion of youth and families due to drugs and alcohol. As Mayor Nirenberg recently noted on the issue: We need to get a handle on what we know is coming. Today, more people died from drug-related overdoses in America than from car accidents and guns combined. Together, we are investing in real and positive change that will help bring the power of recovery to all of greater San Antonio.
Host: Internationally renowned thought leader, CEO of Global Investors and Rise Recovery board member, Frank Holmes, a frequent commentator on the financial television networks CNBC, Bloomberg, BNN and Fox Business, and profiled by Fortune as well as The Financial Times.
More: Rise Recovery's Annual Breakfast is the organization’s primary fundraising and awareness raising event. This year, the purpose will be to recognize the city's champions of recovery, influential leaders in the room, who have made a difference in addressing the devastating impact, especially overdose deaths of young people that stem from addiction. The Breakfast will include a video, testimony from Rise Recovery participants, a Program update, matching grant fundraiser, raffle, and super silent auction. Rise Recovery is expecting at least 500 business, military and civic leaders along with those from our recovery community in attendance.
